Owned and operated by DSB S-Tog A/S, the S-train network is a suburban rail network for the metropolitan area of Copenhagen, Denmark, connecting the city centre to the inner suburbs of Copenhagen. The S-train network forms the heart of the public transportation infrastructure in the city, serving more than 300,000 passengers a day. DSB S-Tog operates a fleet of 135 Litra SE and Litra SA train sets from Alstom and Siemens.

The Watercut JIP project was initiated by Scandpower in 2009 as a suggestion to Statoil on how to document reduced fire loads due to high watercut in certain well streams, including a proposed validation of the advanced fire simulator Kameleon FireEx KFX® for such scenarios. SINTEF NBL headed the project and performed the fire tests, ComputIT was responsible for the modelling and simulation of the fire tests, and Statoil financed the project.
