Maisha Mema Child Sponsonship Program in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Maisha Mema program runs a children’s home and a clubhouse in the Soweto slums in Nairobi. Twenty-five children reside at the children’s home, while the clubhouse provides a social meeting place for some 150 children, who receive help with homework, participate in sports and other activities, and are followed up by teachers, social workers and volunteers.
